✴JUICE BEAUTY✴

Hello beautiful people!

For the past month I have been trying out a few skincare products from Juice Beauty (keep reading for details on this brand) that cater specifically to acne/blemish prone skin. These products (pictured above) include: Blemish Clearing Cleanser, Blemish Clearing Green Apple Peel, Blemish Clearing Serum & an Oil-Free Moisturizer. I bought my kit for $39, similiar kit here.

What I love:

If you don't already know, Juice Beauty is a skincare & makeup brand that uses all natural, all organic ingredients that are not only good for your skin but also eco-friendly. So none of their products contain any parabens, sulfates, pesticides, GMO, etc. Keep in mind when purchasing skin care products that your body can absorb 64% of what you put on it, with Juice Beauty you need not worry about putting nasty, unhealthy, ingredients into your body! I also love that none of these items were heavily scented, they have a very light scent (of all those natural ingredients, yum!), but no artificial fragrance.

Skincare Process:

Simply put, twice a day I wash my face with the cleanser, apply the serum (sometimes to my whole face & sometimes just on the blemishes), apply the moisturizer & finish off by patting some Josie Maran argan oil over my whole face, and twice a week I'll use the green apple peel after cleansing. Easy enough, right?!

What I don't love:

Although I love this brand and all it stands for, I will have to say the entire time I've used these products I've had the same two blemishes on my forehead and on my chin (currently sporting these two guys while typing this)! Also, I don't like the sticky feeling the serum has, nor do I like the packaging for it! It comes in the same kind of squeezy tube the moisturizer comes in (yes, I've confused the two before), and while it's good packaging for the moisturizer (because it's so thick), the serum spills out of the tube way to fast, making it easy to waist product! :(

Quick Bit

The Good:

  • All-natural ingredients

  • Good for you

  • Light scent

  • Decent price(s)

The not-so Good:

  • Sticky serum

  • Has not cleared my blemishes

  • Serum & moisturizer packaging

  • The apple peel is not actually a peel

Shop the brand here.

Have any of you tried any products from this up & coming brand? If so, what are your thoughts? Leave a comment, below! I'd love to know :)
