One of my favorite drugstore brands recently came out with a new product called 'The Only One' Lipstick and being that it claims to be an all in one lipstick (hense, the name) that promises 'no compromising', I decided to give them a try. I picked up 2 of the 12 shades, 820 'Oh-So Wicked' and 700 'Naughty Nude' and jotted down my thoughts to share with you all. If you'd like to give these a try I purchased mine at Target for $6.99 but you can purchase them at your nearest drugstore for the same price.

QUICK OVERVIEW
Are they moisturizing? Yes, at first.
Drying? After a couple hours.
Are they long-lasting? Not really, they start to wear off after 2 hours.
Even application? Not for the darker shades.
Pleasant-smelling? Yes.
Pigmented? Yes.
Worth the money? Yes.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

WHAT IT IS
An all in one lipstick that promises:
Long-lasting color
Moisture
All day comfort
Also, if you've seen any of the ads for this product you've probably noticed they use words like 'legend' and 'powerful'. They also describe them as 'supreme-wear' with a 'ground-breaking formula'...which gives me the impression that it's the most perfect lipstick there ever was (lol)..well Rimmel London...I'll be the judge of that.

FIRST IMPRESSION
First off, what drew me to this product was definitely the packaging, (I'm a sucker for great packaging!) it's sleek, the cap has the Rimmel London crown etched at the top; overall very appealing to the eyes.
When I swatched the product on the back of my hand I found that the color of the lipstick was almost a perfect match to the color on the packaging. Also, these lipsticks are ridiculously pigmented, and if you purchase one of the darker shades (like 820, Oh-So Wicked) they will definitely stain.
APPLICATION
Going in with 700- Naughty Nude on my lips, it took me less than five seconds to get a perfectly even pout (great for when you're in a hurry). Unfortunately I can't say the same for 820, this shade didn't apply as evenly and took a little bit more time and effort to get just right. Both lipsticks have a slight sheen to it and are wonderfully moisturizing, but they transfer and wear off very easily (so much for no compromising).
SCENT/ TASTE
If bad scents bother you (like they do me), you're in luck, the 'All in One' lipsticks have a pleasant, subtle scent to them. I've been wearing it for 2 hours now and can't even smell it anymore (maybe because it's faded so much...). Also, I did just lick my lips so I might as well add that it doesn't really taste like anything...just feels like you're licking Vaseline lol.
Overall, I like the lipsticks. Although they transfer and wear off easily, they are very pigmented and inexpensive and because they have such a nice range of shades, I'd happily repurchase.

Have you tried any of the new lipsticks? If so, what are your thoughts on them?
Xx
